The Buena Vida Foundation – Celebrating Another Year of Service
The Buena Vida Foundation, which celebrates its anniversary this month, is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to serving residents of Buena Vida and promoting the wellbeing of seniors. Its mission has broadened to positively impact the lives of residents and those in the community.
Governed by a Board of Directors that is comprised of residents and community leaders, the Foundation seeks to promote the values of Buena Vida in all its efforts – safety, security, health, and overall higher quality of life to residents.
The Foundation is also focused largely on giving back to the community. Part of the mission includes the betterment of education of Buena Vida staff and their families with a robust and monitored scholarship program that has made higher education possible for many to pursue their callings.
In addition to the scholarship program, the Foundation assists residents who outlive their financial assets.
The Sullivan Health Center, the Jay Carter Memorial Chapel, and the Buena Vida Memory Care Center are all projects that have been completed as a result of the work of the Buena Vida Foundation.
Gift giving to the Buena Vida Foundation includes:
- Bequests
- Charitable gifts
- Personal donations to community projects
- Named projects
- Endowments
- Education scholarships
All gifts continue to offer the satisfaction of helping our community to be stronger financially, more affordable, and responsive to residents who need assistance. All gifts to the Buena Vida Foundation are tax- deductible under the IRS regulations.
So, as The Foundation celebrates and begins another year it also continues to meet each individual’s physical, mental, and spiritual needs, so that residents can start living worry-free immediately and begin enjoying the GoodLifesm.
