In the Kitchen: Executive Chef John Delaney

Many can say that some of their fondest memories are shared over a meal. At Buena Vida Estates, we have created a dining experience that cultivates friendships and laughter.

Our Executive Chef John Delaney graduated in 1989 from The Culinary Institute of America in New York. Chef John has gained culinary expertise from restaurants across the East Coast and has been with Buena Vida Estates since 2007. In 2013, Chef John became the Executive Chef. He and his team meet monthly to go over the menus that are approved by a dietician.

You can find Chef John and his team in the kitchen every day, constantly peeling potatoes and making fresh meals for the residents. Chef John is a great baker and is always on the lookout for new and modern ways to make delicious recipes that are fun to make.

Chef John is from Long Island, NY and moved to Melbourne, FL when he was in elementary school. His father is the reason he started cooking. He and his team meet monthly to go over the menus that are approved by a dietician. Chef John encourages residents to make requests as they love to work with residents to recreate meals they grew up with.

Buena Vida Estates is grateful to have Chef John as part of the Buena Vida Family and we appreciate the dining experience he and his team create for all of the residents here.
